Prototypes
Small working versions of tools, systems or project concepts designed to test feasibility before expansion.
ARDUNA Innovation Lab is a planned working layer for small experiments, prototypes, climate-data tools and responsible uses of technology that can be examined before they are presented as solutions.
It is not being presented as a large laboratory, funded research institute or finished program. At the founding stage, the purpose is narrower: create a disciplined place for practical testing, documentation and learning.
The lab should remain selective. A project belongs here when experimentation can reduce uncertainty, reveal constraints or produce something useful enough to evaluate.
Small working versions of tools, systems or project concepts designed to test feasibility before expansion.
Interfaces, analyses and open utilities that make climate evidence easier to inspect, understand or use responsibly.
Targeted uses of AI for analysis, forecasting, resource management or decision support where the method and limitations remain visible.
Testing how technical, environmental, economic and human constraints interact before a larger project is designed.
Experimentation is useful only when the original question, assumptions, method, result and limitations are visible enough for someone else to challenge.
Define the uncertainty or practical problem the experiment is meant to reduce.
Create the smallest useful prototype or test rather than starting with scale.
Compare what happened with what was expected and record failure as evidence, not embarrassment.
Make methods, limitations and lessons clear enough to support the next decision.
ARDUNA is still in its founding stage. Innovation Lab does not yet represent a staffed facility or a portfolio of completed experiments.
Its credibility should come from the first useful prototypes and documented tests when they exist. Until then, this page defines the standard the lab is expected to follow.
